BPS Principal's Welcome
At Beechworth Primary school we have our values of Respect, Pride, Safety, Inclusiveness and Trust. These values are central to all we do and strive to ensure every member of our School Community works towards these values. I believe we offer a curriculum that promotes the academic, social and emotional needs of all children.
Our core curriculum is enhanced through our specialist classes of Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Science and Physical Education. Our expansive School grounds allows students the freedom to experience a variety of play areas for both physical or passive play. We welcome and embrace Parent participation within all aspects of our School and strive to ensure our Home-School relationships are positive and open.

At Beechworth Primary School, we believe that children are adventurous in acquiring knowledge, intellectually curious, and keen to engage with the world. BPS School Council
School Council meets twice every school term and has the role of making decisions regarding the direction and management of the school within DEECD guidelines. It consists of parents, the Principal and staff. Currently Council consists of 7 parent representatives, 1 community representative s and 4 Department of Education and Early Childhood Development employees.
